Recovery Begins Before Surgery Day

Recovery begins with a private pre-recovery consultation. Together we walk through your home or hotel setup, stairs or recliner, lighting, music or TV, quiet or conversation, scents, simple comforts, favorite foods and beverages, family updates and daily household needs—always following your surgeon's instructions.

The Recovery Wardrobe

The Recovery Wardrobe is a planning conversation about what you already have or have been instructed to use: accessible robes or front-opening clothing, non-slip footwear and surgeon-directed garments.

Thoughtful Selection

We help you think through what will be easiest to put on, take off and manage after surgery, based on your surgeon's guidance and your own comfort preferences.

Examples may include front-opening tops, loose lounge pants, non-slip footwear and any specific garments your surgeon has recommended.

Postoperative Support

On surgery day and the days that follow, support focuses on helping you feel settled and supported at home or in your hotel. This may include getting comfortably positioned, mobility and ambulation assistance, hygiene and shower support as permitted, garment assistance, hydration and simple meals, medication reminders following your surgeon's instructions, comfort positioning, follow-up appointment accompaniment if arranged, and family communication according to your preferences. Recovery does not mean everything else must be put on hold.
